Bakpia – Suryowijayan


Bakpia is the name of Yogyakarta’s unique cake. It’s made from wheat filled with green bean. Now, it has many flavor, but my favorite is still the original bean. Yogyakarta has many places that produces bakpia, mainly at Patuk, Ngampilan. However, I can easily grab it at Suryowijayan, near Pojok Beteng Kulon. There are two home industry that make Bakpia here, and their Bakpia is ridiculously delicious: Bakpia Niti Gurnito and Bakpia lestari. Don’t believe me? Come and get some 🙂
